Were you there in early May?

Early May produced one of the best swells to hit Scorpion Bay in recent memory. As a result, the Scorpion Bay Hotel was inundated with requests for rooms and unfortunately we had to turn many away. For those that were there though- the likes of Dino Andino and Mike Parsons- caught Scorpion Bay at its finest and reminded everyone of its legendary status as one of the longest waves in the world. There were stories of surfers pumping from 4th Point all the way to Zeros. That’s almost a 2 mile long ride!

The moral of this story is that if you are planning on making a trip to Scorpion Bay or if you are a swell chaser, book as early as possible to make sure you have a place to stay. And make sure you book at Scorpion Bay Hotel, the finest place to stay in San Juanico.
